Setting up a remote session


In order to setup a remote session you only need 2 things;

  • Internet Browser eg: Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Firefox, Opera, Torch 
  • Internet Connection





Internet Explorer:


Locate the Internet Explorer icon on your desktop, it may be on the taskbar along the bottom or on the desktop page itself .

  


Double click the icon to open up the program.  

Navigate to the address bar at the top of the page and copy this address into the bar:


www.pcrepaircentre.com


Then Click on Remote Support







When this is done a small bar will appear at the bottom of the page, looking similar to the one below. Select the Run option.



Following this you will be presented with User Account control warning, confirming you wish to run this program, it will look something similar to the example below. 


Select Yes.


The program should then proceed to fully open, looking similar to the below image:



**Take careful note of your ID and Password. Your technician will require them in order to access your machine remotely**











Google Chrome:


Locate the Google Chrome icon on your desktop, it may be on the taskbar along the bottom or on the desktop page itself.



Double click the Google chrome icon to open up the program.

Navigate to the address bar at the top of the page and copy this address into the bar:


www.pcrepaircentre.com


Then Click on Remote Support







This will start a download in the bottom left of your screen called TeamViewerQS.exe, this only take a very short time to download.


When the download is complete double click this icon to open the program.



When the program is open it should look similar to this:

Firefox:

Locate the Firefox icon on your desktop, it may be on the taskbar along the bottom or on the desktop page itself.



Double click the Firefox icon to open up the program.

Navigate to the address bar at the top of the page and copy this address into the bar:


www.pcrepaircentre.com


Click on remote support







You will next be prompted to either save or cancel the file download called TeamViewerQS.exe. Select save file.


In the top right of the screen you should see a downward pointing arrow, click this to open your downloads. 





Double click the TeamViewerQS.exe file in order to start the program


When the program is open it should look similar to this:
